Sothink Video Converter is a powerful program which allows the user to change video formats to make them available to be played with different devices. This practical software comes handy for those people who have recorded videos with their cameras, iPhones and other resources and then, want them to be played in other devices, for which, they need a different format. It is also useful to upload videos you have downloaded from the internet or already have in your pc to your iPhone or iPod. Sothink Video Converter supports multiple formats, Avi, MPEG, iPod, iPhone, 3GPP, 3GPP2, Quick Time Movie, Windows Media, and Zune Videos. You can convert several videos at the same time. But how does this software work? Very easily! All you have to do is add the videos you want to convert and edit them if you please. Once you have added them to the list, you can preview them and remove the video you do not want to be converted. The second step to be carried on, is to click Next and select the new format and change the settings as it best suits you; and with one more click the video or videos will start conversion. In three simple steps, your task will be accomplished and now you will be able to play the videos in the device you have chosen. You can also Crop and Trim videos into clips. This version of the program offers new conversion formats (avi, mov and Zune) as well as the capability of preserving the size of the original file. Now you can enjoy your videos and be able to share them with family and friends at any moment.

Sothink periodically sends a file to their server. It reports on changes in your computer. If it does not like the changes, it disables the program. This happened to me numerous times. I had to cajole them to re-enable the program. About six months ago, the program was disabled once again. My pleas to reinstate it were completely ignored.
